Originally it was a half-collapsed stone house (Rustico). A small paradise was created with a lot of imagination, work and patience. It is a particular object, which is equipped with a keen sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
To enter the house, you have to walk about 200 meters on an
ancient mule track through the olive terraces. There is a beautiful
path which runs on one level, but it is only recommended for people
who are safe on foot. Here along you must also carry your luggage,
rolling suitcases are not to be recommended.
The house has two floors, in the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a small adjoining bathroom as well as a kitchen. Here you will find all comfort of modern life such as refrigerator, dishwasher, gas hob with electric oven and a wood stove. At the large dining table up to 6 people find place.
On the second level there is a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom which is flooded with light. Here you will also find a washing machine. The outdoor area consists of a paved stone terrace where you can enjoy the warm summer evenings with a glass of wine, a comfortable barbecue with your family and friends or even you can take a sunbath. The house is surrounded by meadows, olive terraces and gardens with an open view to the wide valley. The site is not fenced and partially terraced. Since the dry stone walls are 2 meters high and partly unsecured, we consider the object for families with children under 6 years for not suitable.
In the garden, not far from the house there
is a mini-pool, about 90 cm deep. For swimming it is not big
enough, but to cool down or to watch the sunset with a
glass of Prosecco in hand: ideal.
Casa "Ne Barche" is the perfect place for those who love nature and tranquility , looking for something special, something you will not find in any travel brochure.

Prelá Castello is an idyllic, protected place with a ruined castle of the XII century in the middle of olive groves. The village looks back to a long and eventful history. In the Middle Age, the rulers who controlled the whole Prino valley lived in the castle of Prelá. The houses in the village are partly as old as the castle itself or were built from the stones of the castle.
The Renaissance church with its baroque facade reflects the past glory and richness of the place. Today only 15 people are still living in Prelá, all of them are very kind and helpful. The only street leading through the village is rarely used and ends on the sunny Piazza. The nearest grocery stores are located in Vasia (2 km) and Pantasina (1.9 km).
The olive cultivation is still intensively practiced in Prelá. You can buy the delightful olive oil from the rare Taggiasca olive directly from the owners.
The only road leading through the village is a dead end and ends on a sunny piazza. Here from time to time village festivals are celebrated in the summer months, tourists are always welcome. The nearest grocery stores is located in Vasia (2 km) and Pantasina (1.9 km), the nearest restaurant in Vasia. The owner of the corner shop in Vasia is the same of the restaurant, so do not forget to make a reservation for a table in the restaurant when getting the buns in the morning!
